Updated UFC Bantamweight Rankings After Petr Yan & Merab Dvalishvili Put on Classic at UFC 333

Petr Yan secured a hard-fought unanimous decision victory over Merab Dvalishvili in their trilogy bout at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi, despite Dvalishvili's early lead in the first two rounds. This result has led to updated bantamweight rankings, with Payton Talbott now at number 10.

Talbott holds a 6-1 UFC record with four finishes, including recent wins over Deiveson Figueiredo and Henry Cejudo, though he suffered a loss to Raoni Barcelos last year.

Farid Basharat sits at number 9 with an undefeated 16-0 record, having entered the UFC via the Contenders Series four years ago. Meanwhile, Cory Sandhagen, now ranked 8th, has lost three of his last four fights, including defeats to Dvalishvili and Mario Bautista.

Umar Nurmagomedov, ranked 7th, recently suffered a knockout loss to Song Yadong at UFC Shanghai in August, following previous wins over Bautista and Figueiredo and a loss to Dvalishvili.
