UFC Vegas 122 Main Card Fighter Scores Ultra-Violent "Knockout of the Year" Contender

UFC Vegas 122 delivered a knockout-heavy night at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, with the featherweight division stealing the show. Veteran Andre Fili, a UFC fighter since 2013, ended a two-fight losing streak with a stunning second-round head kick against Kai Kamaka III, sending the opponent crashing to the canvas just 22 seconds into the round.

The finish, widely regarded as a knockout of the year contender, came after a competitive first round and showcased Fili’s precision striking. Earlier on the main card, Otari Tanzilovi secured his first UFC victory with a hard-hitting knockout over Malcolm Wellmaker, adding to a night where seven of the eight prelim bouts ended inside the distance.

The event also featured a middleweight main event between Brendan Allen and Christian Leroy Duncan, though the early action was dominated by explosive finishes across the card.
