The UFC has officially announced its first major event of 2026, UFC 336, marking a return to Toronto after a two-year absence. Scheduled for January 30 at Scotiabank Arena, the event will kick off the promotion’s Canadian schedule, with UFC CEO Dana White emphasizing the importance of the country’s growing role in the brand’s expansion.
This will be the eighth UFC card in Toronto, a city that has hosted some of the organization’s most memorable moments. The event also signals a shift in how Canadian fans access UFC content, as all future numbered events will be included with a Paramount Plus subscription—eliminating the previous requirement of paying extra for pay-per-view access.
Ontario officials, including Minister of Sport Brian Saunderson, have praised the partnership, highlighting efforts to streamline hosting logistics and boost economic benefits for the province through sport tourism. While no main event has been confirmed, UFC 336 will mark the 38th Canadian card since the promotion’s debut in Montreal in 2008, continuing a strong relationship between the UFC and the country’s combative sports scene.
