UFC 336 Officially Announced For Toronto

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has confirmed UFC 336 will return to Toronto on January 30, 2027, marking the eighth time the promotion has hosted an event in Canada’s largest city. The card will take place at Scotiabank Arena, the same venue used for all previous UFC stops in Toronto since 2011, following the organization’s last visit in January 2024 for UFC 297.

The announcement comes as the UFC prepares for its new deal with Paramount+, with Toronto serving as a key market for a high-profile numbered event. Speculation remains strong for a potential main event between welterweight champion Islam Makhachev and Carlos Prates, a fight that has been in discussions for some time.

Additional rumored matchups include a potential No. 1 contender bout between Michael Morales and Shavkat Rakhmonov, a pairing teased by UFC president Dana White.

Canadian fighters are also expected to feature prominently on the card, continuing the tradition of strong local representation at Toronto events.
