UFC 334 Loses "Fight of the Night" Contender Just Weeks Out From MSG Event

The UFC’s highly anticipated **UFC 334** event at Madison Square Garden has suffered another significant setback just weeks before the November 14 showdown. The card, already trimmed from 14 to 11 bouts after injuries to **Nazim Sadykhov** and **Jefferson Nascimento**, now faces the withdrawal of **Adrian Yanez**, who announced via Instagram he has been hospitalized and will miss the fight against **Juan Diaz**.

The bout was expected to be one of the standout prelims, with Yanez—who had recently defeated former UFC Bantamweight Champion **Cody Garbrandt**—bringing momentum from a strong recent stretch that included four knockouts in his first five UFC fights. His absence leaves the UFC scrambling to reschedule or replace the matchup, further complicating an already reshuffled card.

Meanwhile, the main event remains intact, with **Ciryl Gane** set to defend his undisputed heavyweight title against **Josh Hokit**, while the co-main event will finally see **Kayla Harrison** face **Amanda Nunes** in a rescheduled bantamweight title clash.
