UFC 332 takeaways as Natalia Silva championship, KO barrage highlight night

UFC 332 featured a heavy wave of stoppages, including eleven total knockouts and nine occurring inside the opening frame. Bantamweight competitor Payton Talbott secured a round-one knockout against Deiveson Figueiredo, following up on his previous victory over Henry Cejudo.

Speaking after the bout to interviewer Joe Rogan, Talbott immediately called out former division champion Sean O’Malley. Elsewhere on the card, Natalia Silva captured the women’s bantamweight title by defeating Wang Cong in a main event that drew some viewer disapproval during grappling exchanges along the cage walls.

The championship belt became available after Valentina Shevchenko had to vacate the position due to back and shoulder ligament damage. In the heavyweight division, former New York Jets linebacker Anthony Wint defeated Lucas Armand via a twenty-three-second technical knockout, while Johnny Walker successfully transitioned from light heavyweight with a quick stoppage win.
