UEC European Championships: Ineos-bound super talent Benjamín Noval maintains Worlds form to win junior men's time trial

Benjamín Noval celebrated his 18th birthday by narrowly capturing the junior men's time trial title at the UEC European Championships in Slovenia. The Spanish rider successfully defended his Worlds momentum, though a fierce late charge from Denmark's Malthe Risbjerg cut his early advantage down to a razor-thin margin by the finish line in Šenčur.

Belgium's Vic De Smet secured the bronze medal, finishing just seven seconds off the winning pace, while Switzerland's Antoine Salamin closely followed in fourth place.
