UCLA writer blasts Lincoln Riley's USC team after Oregon loss

USC stumbled during its fourth week of competition, dropping a 41-27 decision to Oregon to pick up its initial defeat of the year. Defensive struggles plagued the squad as opponents generated more than 500 yards of offense while crucial stops remained elusive.

Following the contest, journalist Dylan McNeill highlighted a recurring lack of poise within the roster, pointing to undisciplined play that included a dangerous hit by linebacker Desman Stephens II on opposing quarterback Dante Moore. Head coach Lincoln Riley faced fresh scrutiny regarding his ability to secure victories in high-stakes matchups.
