Ahead of their upcoming matchup, the Seattle Seahawks announced their four team captains for Week 4 following a previous defeat against the Washington Commanders. The group features Cooper Kupp representing the offense, Mike Morris covering special teams, alongside Nehemiah Pritchett and Uchenna Nwosu leading the defensive unit.
For Nwosu, the designation carries extra significance as he prepares to square off against the Los Angeles Chargers, the franchise that originally drafted him in the second round back in 2018 before he joined Seattle in 2022.
This collection of leaders accounts for 26 seasons of combined NFL tenure, led by Kupp and Nwosu, and marks the initial time each player has earned the captaincy role this season. Pritchett steps into a prominent role filling in for Riq Woolen at cornerback, while Morris aims to anchor the line rotation after returning to action last week.
The entire quartet will lead the squad onto the pitch when they clash with the winless Chargers at Lumen Field on Sunday afternoon.
