UCF HC Scott Frost Shares Why He’s Thankful to Gus Malzahn

Following a major upset victory over TCU to open Big 12 play, UCF head coach Scott Frost expressed appreciation for the roster left behind by his predecessor, Gus Malzahn. Despite leaning heavily on the transfer portal, Frost acknowledged that inherited players like Demari Henderson and Braeden Marshall have been vital to the team's success in Orlando.

The Knights secured the win largely through a collaborative team effort, overcoming the absence of starting quarterback Alonza Barnett. Backup signal-caller Keyone Jenkins delivered a strong performance by completing 19 of 20 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown, while the defense contributed four sacks and forced four turnovers to limit TCU to just 13 points.
