Tyrese Haliburton declares himself '100%' healthy for Pacers season

During the Indiana Pacers media session on Monday, Sept. 28, star guard Tyrese Haliburton announced he enters the upcoming 2026-27 NBA campaign fully recovered and without any playing limitations.

Having missed the prior 15 months following an Achilles tear during the 2025 NBA Finals and a subsequent bout of shingles, Haliburton expressed eagerness to prove doubters wrong while playing alongside new teammate Ivica Zubac. He noted that he has already begun participating in full 5-on-5 scrimmages to prepare for the regular season.
