Tyreek Hill denies estranged wife's abuse allegations in civil trial

Former NFL star Tyreek Hill took the stand in a Florida civil trial to deny allegations of physical abuse against his estranged wife, Lakeeta Vaccaro Hill. During testimony on October 8, Hill rejected claims that any of their arguments turned violent, insisting their disputes remained verbal and that he had never laid a hand on her.

He attributed the accusations to financial disputes, including claims she exceeded their agreed monthly budget by $60,000, and suggested the allegations stemmed from a desire for money rather than truth. Hill also addressed a separate incident in April 2025, where he admitted to raising his voice but denied any physical confrontation, calling it a pivotal moment that damaged their marriage.

His testimony contradicted Vaccaro Hill’s earlier claims, including an incident during her pregnancy in July 2024, where she alleged he attempted to strike her stomach and pulled her hair after a visit to ESPN headquarters in Connecticut.
