Tuchel questions whether Palmer is desperate to play for England

England manager Thomas Tuchel has cast doubt on Cole Palmer's commitment to the national team after the Chelsea midfielder withdrew from yet another squad due to fitness issues. Tuchel pointed out that Palmer has been absent from numerous international camps under his leadership despite showing strong early season form with six goal involvements in seven matches.

When questioned about the player's desire to represent his country, the coach conceded it is difficult to dispute that impression, contrasting the situation with available squad members such as Jude Bellingham, Morgan Rogers, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Eberechi Eze.
