Trent McDuffie inactive for Rams-Cardinals

The Los Angeles Rams will face a defensive challenge without their standout cornerback Trent McDuffie, who is inactive for Sunday’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. McDuffie, who has delivered seven pass breakups and an interception this season, missed Friday’s practice with a groin issue and was listed as questionable before being ruled out.

Meanwhile, Rams safety Kam Curl returns to action after being questionable with an ankle injury, while Arizona’s running back Jeremiyah Love remains out with an ankle issue of his own. The Cardinals also saw multiple defensive inactives, including cornerback Starling Thomas, safeties Andrew Wingard, Wydett Williams, and Jerrick Reed, along with defensive lineman Andrew Billings.

Quarterback Carson Beck, Arizona’s emergency third-string signal-caller, is also among the inactives, as is Rams backup quarterback Ty Simpson.
