Andros Townsend avoided injury during a bizarre mishap in Thailand when a heavy turf-smoothing machine rolled over his left leg prior to kickoff. The veteran attacker, currently competing for PT Prachuap, managed to laugh off the bizarre collision on social media by joking about past Premier League trips to Stoke City.

Despite the warm-up accident at the Pattani stadium, he eventually entered the contest as a late substitute to help secure a three-goal victory.
