Top 3 batters to watch out for in 2nd semi-final of Asian Games 2026

India and Sri Lanka are set to square off in the second semi-final of the men's cricket tournament at the Asian Games 2026 on Thursday, October 1, hosted at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Japan. India enters the knockout fixture as the defending champions, while Sri Lanka seeks a victory to secure their spot in the gold medal match.

Key players highlighted for the upcoming clash include Indian captain Shreyas Iyer, Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batter Niroshan Dickwella, and Indian player Abhishek Sharma. Iyer previously delivered an important sixteen-run knock in a rain-shortened fixture against Japan to help guide his side to a narrow victory, while Dickwella brings valuable experience and an aggressive approach to the Sri Lankan batting order.
