Toni Nadal says whether he would ever consider coaching Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner

During a recent discussion with a Spanish media outlet, Toni Nadal expressed his preference for Carlos Alcaraz over Jannik Sinner regarding their playing styles, calling Alcaraz a smart and versatile competitor. However, Nadal firmly rejected the possibility of managing either of those tennis stars, or any other athlete, confirming his retirement from the competitive circuit.

Their rivalry faced significant setbacks throughout the 2026 season due to injuries that sidelined both players for major Grand Slam events, leaving their only tournament meeting in April at the Monte Carlo Masters final, where Sinner defeated Alcaraz in straight sets during a wind-affected match featuring eighty-three unforced errors.
