Tom Banton's maiden ton powers England to record Sri Lanka rout as hosts seal ODI series with crushing 223-run win

Tom Banton hit his first international limited-overs century with an impressive innings of 126, leading England to a massive total of 355-7. He was well-supported by skipper Harry Brook, who added 77 runs during a crucial 150-run partnership that secured a dominant 223-run victory and a 2-1 series win over Sri Lanka.

In response, the visiting batting lineup collapsed entirely for just 132 runs, with Liam Dawson claiming three wickets and Gus Atkinson adding two more to seal the rout.
