The Valkyries Aren't Making Excuses After Losing Game 6 Thursday

The Atlanta Dream defeated the Golden State Valkyries 80-69 in Game 6 of the WNBA Finals, tying the series at 3-3. The matchup took place in Atlanta at 12:30 p.m. ET, marking one of the earliest playoff starts for a professional sports league in the United States.

Forward Gabby Williams rejected the notion that the early tip-off hindered her team's performance, noting that the Dream faced the same conditions. The deciding Game 7 will be held at the Chase Center, where the Valkyries have only six losses this season.

While the Dream previously beat them there in Game 2 with a score of 79-65, Golden State has won all three of their Finals victories by keeping Atlanta under 70 points.
