The NFL’s spirit took over in Brazil amidst Cowboys-Ravens thriller

The iconic Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro hosted its first NFL matchup on September 27, 2026, drawing a crowd of 72,792 fans for a thrilling contest between the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Ravens. Despite the Cowboys acting as the designated home team, the local spectators heavily favored the Ravens, who secured a dramatic 24-21 victory thanks to a last-second field goal.

Brandon Aubrey and Javonte Williams initially put Dallas ahead, but Derrick Henry and Tyler Loop sparked the Baltimore comeback, while Jake Ferguson also contributed a touchdown for the Cowboys during the intense cross-hemisphere spectacle.
