The early signs are extremely encouraging for Manchester City and Elliot Anderson

Manchester City secured a narrow 3-2 victory in their fourth Champions League fixture, powered by a stellar display from midfielder Elliot Anderson. The England international orchestrated play effectively, completing seventy-nine of eighty-three passes and winning ten of eleven duels.

Erling Haaland ultimately sealed the triumph with a late back-post tap-in, arriving at the end of a brilliant right-wing surge and cross delivered by Anderson. Following the match, Haaland heaped high praise on the newcomer for adapting seamlessly and instantly to his new surroundings under Enzo Maresca.
