The The Golf League (TGL) has unveiled its expanded roster for Season 3, welcoming 11 new players to its lineup of 35 athletes across seven teams. Among the additions is Brooks Koepka, a five-time major champion, who will lead the newly formed Motor City Golf Club alongside Jackson Koivun, Jake Knapp, Si Woo Kim, and Bud Cauley.
The league’s new participants also include 19 other golfers, with 20 of the 35 players ranked in the world’s top 50, including Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young, Wyndham Clark, and Chris Gotterup, who occupy spots from second to sixth in the Official World Golf Rankings. The season kicks off on December 27 at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, with Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links team set to face defending champions Los Angeles Golf Club in the opening match, following Woods’ absence from competitive play for most of 2026 due to back surgery and a subsequent DUI charge.
Notable departures from last season include Lucas Glover, Adam Scott, Xander Schauffele, and Kevin Kisner, while Shane Lowry joined Boston Common Golf after a trade involving Ryan Fox, who also made his TGL debut this year. The combined achievements of the league’s players include 38 major championships, 257 PGA Tour victories, and 114 Ryder/Presidents Cup appearances, underscoring the elite talent assembled for the third season of TGL.
