Texas A&M is a finalist to land 2028 4-star CB out of Florida

Despite a difficult three-win and three-loss opening stretch under third-year leader Mike Elko, Texas A&M continues making strong headway in its upcoming recruiting classes. Four-star cornerback Phoenix Evans recently trimmed his collegiate choices to ten options, incorporating the Aggies alongside programs such as Florida, Oklahoma, and Florida State.

Evaluating his next destination following a transfer to IMG Academy, the New Jersey native previously checked out the campus during a weekend loss against Kentucky. The program currently holds commitments from other prominent prospects like Mark Matthews, Donald Tabron, Chance Archangel, and Eric McFarland while working to bolster its defensive pipeline under defensive coordinator Lyle Hemphill.
