Texans rule out Azeez Al-Shaair, list Jadeveon Clowney as questionable

Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair will miss the upcoming matchup with the Dallas Cowboys due to a groin issue sustained during last week's defeat against the Indianapolis Colts. Safety MJ Stewart has also been ruled out for the fixture because of a knee problem.

Meanwhile, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney carries a questionable designation for the contest against his former franchise as he deals with a knee injury that kept him sidelined in Week 3. Clowney logged limited sessions on Wednesday and Thursday prior to sitting out Friday's practice.

Several other roster members share questionable status ahead of the weekend, including defensive end Logan Hall for his knee, linebacker Jake Hansen regarding a calf concern, and offensive guard Ed Ingram due to a groin complaint. On a positive note for the offense, wide receiver Nico Collins carries no injury designation and is set to make his return following a full participation practice on Friday after recovering from a hamstring ailment.
