Terps in the NFL Week 3: Trader thrives in starting role on Dolphins’ defense

Miami safety Dante Trader Jr. anchored his defense during a Week 3 loss to Kansas City, recording nine tackles and a pass deflection over 52 snaps.

Across his first three starts, the second-year defensive back has accumulated 14 tackles, two pass deflections, and an interception. Other former Maryland standouts also made news across the league, as Jalen Huskey sat out as an inactive scratch and Alan Herron stayed on the practice squad.

Meanwhile, numerous other alumni saw action, including DJ Moore catching six passes for 67 yards, Tarheeb Still forcing a fumble, and Chad Ryland converting three field goals.
