Tennis has exposed an issue with its own schedule as ATP Finals injury concerns grow

The ATP Finals faces potential quality concerns as a demanding season schedule takes a toll on top competitors. Jannik Sinner has already withdrawn due to a knee injury, while other qualifiers and hopefuls like Flavio Cobolli and Arthur Fils are battling physical setbacks that forced recent match retirements.

These injuries, compounded by mandatory tournament requirements, have sparked criticism regarding the current structure of the professional circuit. With players pushing to secure their spots in Turin, the physical strain of the relentless calendar is increasingly threatening the integrity of the year-end championship.
