Tampa Bay Buccaneers news: Bucs have short week to prepare for Cowboys

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face a difficult turnaround as they prepare for a Thursday night road game against the Dallas Cowboys. Tampa Bay enters the matchup winless, while Dallas holds a 2-2 record following a comeback victory over the Houston Texans.

The Buccaneers are managing roster uncertainty, including the status of quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is recovering from a thumb injury sustained in week three. Jalon Daniels recently made his first professional start for the team during their previous home game.
