Sunday's Yankees-Orioles game moved up to avoid inclement weather

The regular season finale between the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles has been rescheduled to an earlier slot on Sunday due to an impending weather system. First pitch will now happen at 1:05 p.m., superseding the original 3:20 p.m.

schedule, while stadium entry will begin at noon. Pitching duties are slated for Elmer Rodriguez of New York against Shane Baz for Baltimore.

This schedule adjustment follows a previous shift that moved Saturday's contest into a Friday doubleheader to bypass severe weather. The upcoming matchup holds little weight for the standings, as the Yankees have already secured a playoff berth and look ahead to a Wild Card Series opener against the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday.
