At the midway point of Sunday night's contest, Los Angeles holds a commanding 16-0 advantage over Denver. Despite missing Puka Nacua, the visitors controlled the opening half by outgaining their opponents 273 total yards to 67 and moving the chains 17 times.
Matthew Stafford connected with Tyler Higbee for a five-yard score, while kicker Harrison Mevis added three field goals from 36, 35, and 40 yards out. Stafford also achieved a milestone by surpassing 20,000 passing yards with two distinct franchises.
Kyren Williams contributed significantly on the ground and through the air, and Davante Adams posted a team-high 71 receiving yards.
Conversely, the home side struggled to generate momentum on either side of the ball. Quarterback Bo Nix completed six of twelve passes for 53 yards, and JK Dobbins paced the rushing attack with a mere nine yards.
Injuries also impacted both rosters before the break, as Terrance Ferguson aggravated an ankle issue and Jaylen Watson was sidelined with a shoulder injury. Denver will receive the ball to start the third quarter seeking an offensive turnaround.
