Sunday Night Football: Jameson Williams' deep catch allows Lions to tie Panthers 16-16 at halftime

The Lions and Panthers entered the locker room deadlocked at 16-16 following a high-scoring first half. Bryce Young paced the Carolina offense with 178 passing yards and a touchdown pass to Tetairoa McMillan, who hauled in nine catches for 147 yards.

Chuba Hubbard also contributed a 15-yard rushing score, though a missed extra point by Ryan Fitzgerald kept the Panthers from holding a lead. Detroit countered with a Jahmyr Gibbs touchdown run and a late 41-yard field goal from Jake Bates.

The kick was set up by a significant reception from Jameson Williams, who finished the half with 74 yards on four catches. Jared Goff enters the break with 153 passing yards as the Panthers prepare to receive the kickoff to start the third quarter.
