Steve Sarkisian, Texas troll Tennessee football with cigar celebration

Following a narrow twenty to seventeen triumph on September twenty-sixth, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian brought a lit cigar into his postgame media session. The top-ranked Longhorns managed to edge out the thirteenth-ranked Volunteers away from home.

Sarkisian noted that he was adopting a local custom while celebrating the victory. Having previously coached at Alabama, where defeating this opponent always called for post-match cigars, he carried the ritual over to this latest matchup.
