Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr plans to watch the Golden State Valkyries attempt to clinch the WNBA title during a morning breakfast. The sixth game of the series against the Atlanta Dream was moved to a 12:30 p.m.
ET start time to accommodate a scheduling conflict with an NBA game between the Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers. Kerr joked that the early tipoff is preferable to playing in a small gym before a tiny crowd.
The league shifted the contest to State Farm Arena after the initial venue, Gateway Center Arena, proved insufficient. The Valkyries currently hold a 3-2 series advantage following a 64-55 win in the previous matchup, where Kiah Stokes recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks.
