Sterling admits dangerous driving after motorway crash

Ex-England international Raheem Sterling entered guilty pleas at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court regarding an incident from the morning of 28 May. The 31-year-old Berkshire resident collided with motorway barriers along Hampshire's M3 while operating a Lamborghini Urus, having driven the vehicle in a dangerous manner across Minley Road, the A327, the M25, and the M3 prior to the collision.

Following his arrest at the scene, Sterling also confessed to refusing to supply a testing sample as well as holding six canisters of the Class C substance nitrous oxide intended for improper inhalation. Across his international career, the former national team winger earned 82 appearances for England, making his final appearance during the 2022 World Cup staged in Qatar.
