Sonya Curry, mother of NBA superstars Stephen and Seth Curry, has married her new partner in a swift and emotional ceremony just five years after her divorce from former NBA player Dell Curry. The wedding took place at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort, with the couple tying the knot in a nine-week planning period.

Sonya shared her joy in an Instagram post, reflecting on her late mother’s passing and how her new relationship brought her unexpected happiness. The celebration included a unique touch with roller skaters performing at the reception, blending elegance with playful energy.

Sonya and Dell Curry, who were married in 1988 and divorced in 2021 amid mutual accusations of infidelity, share three children: Steph, Seth, and Sydel. Dell, a former Hornets guard, retired in 2002 as the franchise’s all-time leader in points and three-pointers made, while Sonya was an all-conference volleyball player at Virginia Tech when she met Dell during a recruiting trip.
