Steelers DT Derrick Harmon, CB Jamel Dean to miss multiple weeks

The Pittsburgh Steelers are facing a multi-week absence for defensive tackle Derrick Harmon following a foot injury sustained during their Week 4 defeat against the Cleveland Browns. Harmon exited the contest on a cart before returning to the sideline in a walking boot and street clothes, with team officials weighing whether a stint on injured reserve might be necessary.

Meanwhile, cornerback Jamel Dean is also projected to miss a couple of weeks as he works his way back from an ankle issue that surfaced prior to the matchup and ultimately forced him to leave early. These injuries leave the defense thin as the team prepares to host the Indianapolis Colts and running back Jonathan Taylor for their upcoming Week 5 fixture.
