Spurs beat 10-man Palace to keep up Sage pressure as Eagles fall into drop zone

Tottenham secured a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, marking their third consecutive league win and pushing them to eighth place. The visitors were forced to play with ten men for most of the match after Jean-Philippe Mateta received a red card for a challenge on Micky van de Ven.

Archie Gray opened the scoring with a header shortly after the dismissal, and Jan Paul van Hecke later added a second goal to seal the result. The defeat leaves Crystal Palace in the relegation zone and increases pressure on manager Pierre Sage, who will be without Mateta for the next three matches.
