Special teams blunders swung the game in Bengals vs. Steelers

The Cincinnati Bengals dropped a frustrating road contest to the Pittsburgh Steelers after costly special teams errors handed their opponents crucial scoring opportunities. Following a promising opening to the season, Cincinnati undermined their efforts when Cedric Johnson collided with the opposing punter, which allowed Pittsburgh to orchestrate a touchdown drive and seize the lead.

Later in the match, Ke’Shawn Williams mishandled a punt deep in his own territory to set up another Pittsburgh score. Head coach Zac Taylor remarked after the final whistle that those ten combined points proved insurmountable for his squad.
