The Atlanta Dream will return to State Farm Arena for the entire 2027 season as part of a new multiyear agreement, marking a full-time home after six years split between College Park and the arena. The move comes as the WNBA expands its regular season to 50 games, requiring the Dream to play all 25 home contests in the 17,044-seat venue.
The franchise has seen explosive growth in recent years, including a 400% increase in season ticket holders and 65 sellout games over the past three seasons, with eight of those at State Farm Arena. The team’s popularity surged further after acquiring standout player Angel Reese, who has helped propel them to the WNBA semifinals as a No.
4 seed this season.
The Dream have already drawn strong crowds at State Farm Arena this year, selling out five of six regular-season home games, including two against the defending champion Las Vegas Aces and two against Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever. The team’s ticket strategy has included tiered access, with upper bowl seats closed for some games to manage demand, though they opened those sections for playoff series.
Despite a tight turnaround between the regular season and playoffs, the Dream have maintained high attendance, welcoming over 9,700 fans for both their first-round and semifinal opener against the New York Liberty.
