South Africa v Australia: second men’s cricket Test, day one – live

South Africa’s Proteas welcome Australia for the second Test of their series at St George’s Park in Gqeberha, with play set to begin at 10:00 AM local time (7:00 PM AEDT, 9:00 AM BST). The match follows a tense first Test in Durban, where Australia secured a narrow victory despite South Africa’s early batting collapse.

The rivalry between the two teams is steeped in competitive history, with Australia holding a strong record in South Africa. Weather conditions are expected to add an extra layer of challenge, with rain likely to feature prominently in the proceedings.

Fans can expect a high-stakes encounter as both sides look to assert dominance in a series already marked by drama and intensity.
