New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson recently made his debut hosting Saturday Night Live, capping off his appearance with an office sketch where his character repeatedly attempted to throw a shot into a trash receptacle. SNL writer Dan Bulla subsequently revealed that a hidden air blower inside the bin made scoring impossible until the final take, which succeeded on air after missing during dress rehearsal.
The episode also featured appearances from teammates Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Josh Hart, alongside Kenan Thompson portraying Stephen A. Smith.
Brunson joins an elite group of NBA players to host the iconic comedy program, becoming the fifth overall and the first representing the Knicks.
