
Freddie Slater is set to join Invicta Racing for the 2027 Formula 2 campaign following a second-place finish in Formula 3. The British racer, who claimed titles in Italian F4 in 2024 and the Formula Regional European Championship in 2025, advanced to F3 alongside Trident while also being recruited as the lead talent for Audi's newly established F1 Driver Development Programme in 2026.
During his time in the third tier, Slater took control of the points standings after securing a top-three result across four straight feature races.
