Significant biceps injury likely to sideline red-hot Gasper for postseason

Boston suffered a heavy blow during the opening game of a doubleheader at Fenway Park after Mickey Gasper exited due to a severe right arm injury sustained in the fifth frame. Manager Chad Tracy indicated that the setback will likely keep the surging hitter out of the upcoming postseason matchups, ending a productive stretch that featured ten home runs across his previous thirty-three appearances.

With Gasper unavailable, the team must adjust their outfield plans for right-handed pitching by potentially deploying Jarren Duran and Roman Anthony.
