Experienced Indian cricketers Ajinkya Rahane and Dinesh Karthik have selected their upcoming generation of star batsmen, commonly referred to as the Fab Four. Rahane included Shubman Gill, Harry Brook, Rachin Ravindra, and Pathum Nissanka in his lineup to promote consistent multi-format performance, while Karthik swapped Nissanka for Travis Head and also praised Yashasvi Jaiswal.
In concurrent on-field action during the second one-day international against the West Indies at Guwahati, Shubman Gill reinforced his rising status by hitting a massive double century. His performance featured a 255-run opening stand alongside captain Rohit Sharma, whose innings reached 101 runs from 75 balls after the visiting side had put up a total of 405 runs for seven wickets.
