Shreyas Iyer wins 19 tosses in 25 matches, sets record among Full Member captains

Shreyas Iyer has achieved a historic milestone in international cricket, securing 19 toss victories across his first 25 matches as captain. This performance surpasses the previous records held by Daren Sammy and Salman Ali Agha among Full Member nations.

During the fourth T20I against New Zealand, Iyer opted to bowl first after winning the toss at the start of the match. India has made two adjustments to their lineup for this encounter, bringing in Ishan Kishan and Mayank Yadav to replace Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Despite already clinching the series with a 3-0 lead, the captain has urged his squad to maintain a ruthless mindset for the remainder of the tour. He noted that the team is actively adapting to the local conditions, including the chilly weather and varying ground dimensions.
