Semi-private golf course in Florida is going members only on the weekends

Starting in January, The Club at Eaglebrooke in Lakeland, Florida, will restrict Saturday and golf play to members exclusively. According to general manager Ryan Roberts, the policy shift is designed to shorten wait times, improve course availability, and foster a stronger sense of community among members and their guests.

While weekend links access will be reserved, the facility dining room will continue serving lunch and dinner to the public from Tuesday through Sunday. Opened in 1996, the property underwent significant upgrades in 2025 that included rebuilding twenty greens, adding two bridges on the thirteenth hole, installing a bulkhead on hole seventeen, and reshaping several bunkers.
