Saturday Rockpile: The 2026 Rockies Statcast Awards

The 2026 Colorado Rockies season provided little team success, but individual performance metrics offer a unique look at the roster. Sterlin Thompson led the club with a 75.4 mph average bat speed, while Edouard Julien topped the exit velocity charts at 90.8 mph and displayed elite plate discipline with an 18.6% chase rate.

Hunter Goodman recorded the team's hardest-hit ball of the year at 116.2 mph during a June contest against Minnesota. Conversely, Thompson also logged the season's softest non-bunt hit at 32.6 mph.

On the mound, Seth Halvorsen reached a peak velocity of 101.9 mph during a May appearance against Arizona.
