Saquon Barkley suffers new injury in disastrous Eagles return

Saquon Barkley faced a difficult return to the field during the Philadelphia Eagles' 38-21 defeat against the Dallas Cowboys. After missing two games due to a hamstring ailment, the running back aggravated the injury during his opening carry and subsequently developed a back problem while attempting to continue playing.

Barkley recorded 62 rushing yards on seven attempts, including one touchdown, before being sidelined for the remainder of the contest. He expressed frustration regarding his ongoing health struggles as the team's record dropped to 2-5.

Dameon Pierce also saw action in the backfield as the Eagles rotated their running backs throughout the evening.
