Saqlain Mushtaq fires back at Tauseef Ahmed over Shadab Khan row

Former Pakistan head coach Saqlain Mushtaq has strongly rejected accusations made by Tauseef Ahmed regarding an alleged attempt to influence the selection of Shadab Khan, who is Saqlain's son-in-law. Tauseef had previously claimed on an online show that Saqlain lobbied for Shadab's inclusion and even possessed phone recordings of the matter.

Responding publicly, Saqlain denied ever speaking to Tauseef on the telephone, clarifying that he only reached out via text and voice messages years ago because he was deeply hurt by critical remarks Tauseef had made.
