The Texas A&M Aggies secured a comfortable 34-7 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday night, delivering a much-needed confidence boost for the program. The hosts controlled the pace of the contest, maintaining a massive time of possession advantage and heavily favoring the running game behind strong offensive line work and multiple scrambles from quarterback Marcel Reed.
Defensively, the Aggies registered six tackles for loss, while safety Tawfiq Byard made an immediate impact upon entering in the second half. Special teams also contributed heavily, as senior kicker David Olano averaged 53.5 yards on field goals and tight end Kiotti Armstrong hauled in a 54-yard reception.
Arkansas struggled mightily to generate offense, managing just 214 total yards in their lowest-scoring outing of the year.
