Ryan Fitzpatrick rips Broncos' Bo Nix after ugly 'TNF' game: 'He's not playing competitive football right now'

Amazon Prime analyst and former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick blasted Broncos rookie Bo Nix after Denver’s 17‑14 Thursday Night Football victory over Seattle, calling the performance “almost disrespectful to the quarterback position” and saying Nix was “not playing competitive football.” Fitzpatrick noted Nix’s lack of confidence, pointing to his tendency to throw short screens and avoid deeper throws, and questioned the trust from coach Sean Payton and backup Davis Webb.

Nix completed 17 of 27 passes for 107 yards, averaging four yards per attempt, with no touchdowns or turnovers. The Broncos managed just 168 total yards, their lowest output in a win since John Elway’s debut in 1983, and remain near the bottom of the league in yards per game (31st) and yards per play (32nd) despite a 4‑2 record.
